MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The Digital Loop Accelerator’s mission is to promote a Circular Economy in Albania via entrepreneurship.
Promote circular economy in Albania by engaging youth, while encouraging consumers to adopt reuse, recycle and refurbish habits in everyday shopping.
Create new revenue-generating startups in Albania to foster entrepreneurship and provide sustainable local jobs that help prevent brain drain.
Bring about brain-gain by offering meaningful opportunities to Albanian diaspora to return to their homeland and invest in its future growth.

Three multinational organizations with deep experience in international development and entrepreneurship are giving shape to this mission
GIZ, the main development agency of Germany that, for the past 14+ years, has been providing services in the field of international development cooperation and international education work. In Albania, its mission includes, among other things, helping Albania align more closely with the European Union’s circular economy vision.
AlbICT is an Albanian non-profit organization founded in 2014 with the aim of raising awareness in Albanian society about the importance of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship in the country’s economic development.
Maverick Nation is a social impact for-profit with a mission of developing entrepreneurship in the emerging world. For the past 3+ years, the organization has been working with startups and startup ecosystems of cities and countries of Central and Eastern Europe, including the Western Balkans, and Latin America.
